Martin Freeman

Martin Freeman has been a fixture in youth basketball for nearly 20 years. He has coached numerous middle school teams at North Shore Country Day School where he was the P.E. teacher close to 15 years. Martin has coached local travel teams, trained, and worked camps and clinics throughout the North Shore. He focuses on building teamwork, defense, and understanding of the fundamentals.

  • Coached 10 U and 16U National (Springfield Missouri)
  • Coached 16u Elgin/St. Charles Black team
  • Coached Varsity Baseball and ran middle school basketball at North Shore Country Day School for over 18 years
  • Coached at Joy Of The Game many levels
  • One of the first instructors at Strike Zone 
  • All conference and All state honors for baseball in "86" & "87"
  • Two year Varsity Basketball player at Evanston "86" and "87". Lost to King downstate on last second shot in "86.
  • Honorable mention player at Proviso West Holiday Tournament
  • MVP of FAAM coming outta middle school
