Steve has a ​vast basketball coaching expertise that has spanned 25 years post his basketball playing career. He utilized fundamentals and basketball IQ teaching to grow his players. He values hard work, discipline, and sportsmanship to make for well rounded basketball player. Above all he is about keeping basketball fun while also teaching his teams to play unselfish team basketball.

  • Hall of Fame Inductee for Basketball and Soccer at Quincy High School. As a junior he was a big piece of the 1986- 87 team that finished fourth in the Class AA state tournament. As a senior in 1987-88, Berry started at point guard, averaging 7.4 points per game and leading the Blue Devils in assists with 112. He also led the team with 11 - three-pointers made, the first season the 3-pointer was used at the high school level.
