COVID-19 Protocal


  • Each participant will be given a quick screening. A contact free temperature check and question about any “feeling sick” symptoms of the last 24 hours. Player must be symptom free and have a temperature under 100.4 to participate.
  • Program will be ran indoors and outdoors.  If indoors masks are mandatory and social distancing is required when possible (not during physical activities.) Mask is optional outdoors.
  • Parents/Players must make sure their equipment/basketballs and hands have been disinfected prior and after participation.
  • Hand sanitizer will always be available. 

Details


  • Participants will be divided into small cohorts where they will be able to focus on accomplishing their Virtual work from school.
  • Participants will engage in social building activities and have an opportunity to learn and connect with other participants.
  • Participants will have an opportunity to engage in a variety of sports with a focus on basketball.
  • ​Program will take place indoors and outdoors.
  • We will be following the Winnetka School District 36 Planning Guide
  • ​Catered Lunch Option Available
  • Participants need to bring the following:

-Chromebook or laptop

-Charger

-Headphones
-Lunch (if staying for the lunch period)
-Snacks
-Water bottle
-Daily/Weekly Lesson Plan

-Basketball


  • 10% family member discount for 2 family members or more. Inquire within for coupon code. 
  • Waiver form at the link above must be filled out prior to participation. Needs to be filled out only one time for the current year. Fill out a new waiver if any information has changed.
  • Players should bring their own basketball to each clinic.

Join the Hoops4Health staff for some elevated remote learning at the Community House! Participants will be divided into small cohorts where they will be supported in accomplishing their class assignments in a safe, supervised setting. The Hoops4Health staff will also facilitate fun activities and games (with a focus on basketball) during breaks to keep everyone’s energy up (outside, weather permitting).
