No contact permitted. Social distanced.
  • Masks are mandatory for parents and players.
When entering the Winnetka Community House participants are to stay on the designated red stickers which start below the gym stairway until instructed to enter by the coach.
  • Each participant will be given a quick screening. A contact free temperature check and question about any “feeling sick” symptoms of the last 24 hours. Player must be symptom free and have a temperature under 100.4 to participate.
  • Parents must oversee/remind players to make sure their hands and equipment have been disinfected prior and after participation.
  • Players should have the following: mask, a bag that has their sports drink/water, basketball, tennis ball, and cone or cone like object (empty bottle works too.) Sports Drink/Water bottle should never be shared.
  • 10% family member discount for 2 family members or more. Inquire within for coupon code.
  • Waiver form at the link above must be filled out prior to participation. Needs to be filled out only one time for the current year. Fill out a new waiver if any information has changed.
  • Players should bring their own basketball to camp.

Our Winter Break Basketball Camp will hit on all different facets of the game. These include guard/post development, defense, plyometrics/hand-eye coordination/footwork, dribble training, basketball cuts, screen and roll situations, learning the art of the Jumpshot, game situations, and building a basketball IQ. We will be working on how to make quick smart decisions on the court. We will also be having our traditional All Start Night. A great fun way for all the players to come out and showcase their skills and just have a lot of holiday fun. We will have a Skills Challenge, Shooting Stars Competition, Slam Dunk Contest, and All Star Game. There will be many prizes and a big healthy foods pizza party. Our Hoops4Health staff can't wait to share their knowledge of the game with the campers over the holidays.

  •  Both weeks we will be working on all the fundamentals of the game. This includes shooting, dribbling, rebounding, defense, passing, screen and roll drills, and game situations.
  • Mental Aspect of the Game, sportsmanship, positive attitude, off court maintenance, healthy lifestyle
  • At the end of each session we will finish with scrimmage games
  • There will be a variety of competitions, contests, and prizes.
